UTel Celebrates Customer Service Week with Vibrant Activities and Customer Appreciation

Kampala, Uganda — UTel marked this year’s Customer Service Week with a series of exciting activities from October 7th to 11th, emphasizing its commitment to excellent customer care and appreciation. The week-long celebration, under the theme “Excellence in Service,” showcased UTel’s dedication to enhancing customer experiences and fostering strong relationships with its clients.

Each day of the week was marked by a unique dress code, adding a touch of vibrancy and cultural pride. Monday was dedicated to African or cultural attire, with UTel’s Chief Operations Officer, Margaret Lutwama, proudly adorning a traditional Buganda gomesi, symbolizing the company’s embrace of diversity and culture. Tuesday saw the team in sleek corporate wear, embodying professionalism, while Thursday featured UTel-branded T-shirts and shirts, reinforcing the company’s brand identity. The week culminated on Friday with staff dressed in the company’s signature colors, celebrating unity and pride in UTel’s journey.

Throughout the week, UTel delighted its customers with thoughtful tokens of appreciation, including cakes, gift hampers, and branded merchandise. As customers interacted with the company’s service touchpoints, they were met with surprise gifts, showcasing UTel’s gratitude for their loyalty and trust.

Speaking on the occasion, COO Margaret Lutwama highlighted the importance of the week, saying, “Customer Service Week is not just about recognizing the hard work of our teams, but more importantly, celebrating the customers who make our work possible.
