UTel Team Building Strengthens Collaboration and Community Impact

UTel has successfully concluded its 2026 team-building programme, bringing staff together in a celebration of teamwork, wellness, and community service that reinforces the company’s people-first culture.

Organized under four staff teams, Team Vibes, Team Big Family, Team Innovador, and Team Elites, the programme extended beyond the workplace, combining team-building activities with meaningful community engagement. Ahead of the main event, the teams participated in a range of corporate social responsibility initiatives, including visits to hospitals and orphanages, health camps, mental health awareness workshops, and a community sanitation drive at Nakasero Market. The sanitation outreach was graced by the Lord Mayor of Kampala, Ronald Balimwezo.

The programme culminated in a vibrant team-building event at Elban Gardens in Buwate, where staff connected through sports, traditional games, music, and shared experiences that strengthened collaboration and camaraderie.

The initiative reflects UTel’s belief that investing in its people and giving back to the communities it serves are integral to building a motivated workforce and delivering exceptional service to customers across Uganda.
